Jasmine’s love for business and connecting people through experiences began as a middle school student involved in the youth organization Future Business Leaders of America and as a young adult through volunteer opportunities. 

Today, Jasmine continues to lean into these areas through her work as Founder and CEO of SmithCo, a marketing agency created to help clients develop strategies and produce experiences centered around ethnic and cultural perspectives of niche audiences. SmithCo has partnered with notable social impact organizations including the Clinton Foundation and the Andrew Goodman Foundation while collaborating with corporate sponsors including Facebook, Netflix and Pernod Ricard. While working her day job as a consultant, she launched and grew a day-of wedding coordination working with more than 200 couples and more than 100 different vendors. Jasmine contributes her success to running a sustainable wedding business to being business savvy, boundary conscious and, centering the needs of everyone needed to make the wedding day a success. 

On a personal mission to deepen her footprint and impact in the wedding industry, she would go on to found DC Wedding Week and for three years leveraged her experience and relationships, to deliver curated experiences for more than 300+ wedding professionals and over $100k+ in sponsorships.

Today Jasmine is focused on building her agency and other business ventures and creative projects including a podcast. Jasmine was raised all over the world as a military dependent and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master’s degree in Public Relations from Georgetown University. She has a certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship from Cornell University and is a certified product manager.
