New and forever fav podcast episodes

Episode 76 - Lead generation for small business

Episode 73 - What makes a good website

Your website is such an important marketing asset for your small business! The thing is, most people aren’t doing a very good job with theirs (#truthbomb). Here are tips to help you make sure yours is up to snuff.

Episode 82 - Marketing myths you tell yourself are true

I’m always really real around here, but when it comes to calling out the marketing excuses I hear small business owners making to justify not doing their marketing?!? Woof. So my friend and super smart business coach, Candice Coppola, joined me for a tough love fest.

Episode 38 - Small business marketing strategy

So you don’t know where to start when it comes to marketing your small business? Welp, Tayler is walking you through all the things you need to think about when putting together a marketing strategy for yourself.

Episode 78 - How do you start a retail business?

Who hasn’t daydreamed abut having their own perfectly curated retail shop? So I’ve got Katherine Oyer of Francis Henri here to chat about her journey from launching an online store to opening a retail shop.

Episode 71 - Interview with Martha Bitar

Tayler chats with Martha Bitar, founder + CEO of Flodesk. Tayler and Martha dig into how you can (and should!) use customer feedback to help your business thrive while still staying true to your vision.

Meet your host

Heyo—Tayler here!

My small business journey started after a couple of failed attempts at working in the corporate world. 9 years later, I am still a self-employed marketing consultant and, more recently, a startup founder with Enji.

I love figuring out ways to work through business challenges, am a brutally honest humanist with a low tolerance for bullshit, a lot of people tell me that they really love my "energy" (not the woo-woo kind, rather the actual amount of energy I have), and I am definitely a full-time feminist. I'm an extrovert, a leo, and an 8, but I swear I'm not an asshole, I just have an opinion.

The Pretty Okay Podcast is one of my favorite ways to share everything that I have learned (from personal experience and taking in all the nerdy things you definitely don’t have time for) as a way to support you on your own entrepreneurial adventure. I hope you enjoy it—and it’s the swift kick in the pants you’re looking for!

Is it worth a listen? Schyeah!

I truly cannot recommend this podcast enough! It has become my go to podcast for all things organization, finance, business, and humor!
I’ve personally been in business for over 5 years and after giving this podcast a few listens, I am confident in saying that you will definitely come away from each episode with concrete tools and applicable advice!
Tayler keeps it real, gets the juggle (and the struggle) and truly wants to help provide help and resources! Can’t say enough great things and always look forward to listening in!
